yes, please!

I've been gathering inspiring wedding photos for the past month and these photos are a dream. The other weekend Tate and I decided to get married in April instead of August (I know, a huge difference!) so we've been busy little bees since then. I promise this blog won't turn into a wedding planning one, but if our reception could look this these photos I'd about die. Lace? check. Polaroids? check. Succulents and leaves? check!

second favorite part of my room.

The other week I posted about my favorite part of my room. This wall is my other favorite part. I've never been a huge fan of pink, but up until about a month ago I decided I love it (and even though it's time consuming I can't. stop. making tissue tassels). My felt Valentines wreath makes me really happy too. Do you have a favorite space in your place?

utah bound. again.

Making (yet another) quick trip to Utah this morning with Robyn to order letterpress wedding invitations. The trip will probably less than 24 hours long... but we'll get a lot done! Have a lovely weekend :)

nature park.

^^he's goofy^^
With the extra day off we had the idea to get root beer and walk around nature park. We lasted only about 15 minutes because it was so cold (I guess those blue skies are really deceiving!) but it was a good time. Talking about our future together is so fun. But next time we walk around the park, I'm thinking we drink hot chocolate instead :)

the weekend.

Weekends where you don't have to think about work/school are the best. We spent time with Tate's side of the family in Utah over the weekend. We ate and ate and laughed and laughed the entire weekend. "Little" Allison (left photo) can entertain us forever. She's managed to wrap Tate around her fingers (and mine, too) and somehow she ended up tagging along with us on our ice cream date. I'm hoping we can have another weekend like this soon!

utah bound.

We're taking a mini road trip down to Utah for the weekend and I can't wait to get out of this cold weather (hopefully, it's more than 2 degrees outside). I'm taking the essentials: fuzzy socks and most of my cameras. See you on Monday!

inspiration, lately.

I forgot what it's like to be a full time student. All homework and no time to explore and take fun photos. But I have't made an inspiration board in a while (and mostly I'm avoiding endless assignments). Right now I can't stop thinking about that perfect shade of red and how bad I want a moon or star poster. Or just a blown up version of this mood board.
Feel free to check out a few of my other inspiration boards here, here, and here.

it's here.

(Sorry for the excessive amount of instax photos lately)
Yesterday I came home to the best package ever. I took a risk and purchased my wedding dress online from BHLDN (Anthropologie's sister store that makes wedding dresses). But I'm so happy with it and somehow it fits perfectly. I took a picture of only the box because I'm trying to keep the dress a secret from Tate for 7 months... and I'm already impatient.

the weekend.

Our first week back in Rexburg has been so good. We've hit up most of our favorite restaurants and started our Friday night dates again (dinner and the dollar movie theatre). Last night we had dinner at Robyn's and ended the night with our favorite apple cider. I was super bad at taking photos over the weekend, but we did take these instax ones. It's minus ten outside and Tate's still sporting his Disney Crocs. He's a keeper!

favorite part of my room.

We started taking instax photos together pretty soon after meeting each other and we haven't stopped taking instant photos since. Instant photos are pretty great, but what do you do with the photos after they develop? I'd usually put them in a box for safe keeping or tape them on my wall. But then I bought this giant frame and put all of our photos in it. I'm really happy with it. And I cannot wait to make a frame more photos at the end of each year!

paradise monday.

You're right, it's not Monday. But we did go to a place called Paradise Donuts on Monday and we decided it's going to be a tradition. Because any time we have time between classes to hang out we'll take it. And really, who can say no to a blueberry donut?

wallace, idaho.

I said I'd come back with 'loads of photos' but really, these are the rest of the photos that I took from Wallace. I think occasionally it's better to walk around town without your camera to see what's really going on out there (instead of through your lens). But I did capture that giant sign and some incredible icicles outside. And I had a really good time making hot chocolate with my mom in our pink pot (hot chocolate is like, our thing). I made it back to school on Saturday and since then I've been unpacking and spending time with Tate. Bring it on, winter semester!

half way there.

We made it to Wallace! And my succulent, too (I'm determined to bring it back to school without breaking). It's definitely winter here; there are icicles hanging from our roof and the trees are topped with snow. We walked around town for a bit and got huckleberry pancakes for dinner and finished the night watching Downton Abbey. The perfect day with my mom, really. I'm half way to school and making the rest of the drive tomorrow.

Have a happy weekend! I'll be back on Monday with loads of photos :)

seattle, it's been real.

Wow. It seems like these last 5 months have flown by. I worked practically full time, took online classes, went to Utah and Vegas to visit Tate, etc. And it's been fun relaxing at home and crafting on my spare time but to be honest I am more than ready to go back to school and start working on graphic design projects. But mostly see my fiancé e v e r y d a y. So I'm making my way back to Idaho and making a road trip out of it. I'll stay at our cabin in Wallace, Idaho with my mom for a day or two then finish the drive to school. Seattle, it's been real. Rexburg, here I come!
